PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies (PJLGC), widely recognized as Cebuana Lhuillier, has diversified its offerings by entering the ridesharing arena with the launch of the Xpress Philippines App (Xpress). Securing licenses from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) for 4-wheel services and from the Technical Working Group (TWG) Accreditation for 2-wheel services, Xpress is set to redefine urban mobility in Metro Manila.

Developed with the local community in focus, Xpress aims to provide a seamless and efficient solution for navigating the bustling streets of Metro Manila. Prioritizing safety, convenience, and affordability, Xpress is poised to become the preferred choice for both Filipino commuters and international travelers.

“As we move further to going face-to-face with our daily transactions whether for business or personal, we saw the need to provide Filipinos with a platform that will aid them in traveling worry-free and seamlessly, thus the Xpress app was born. This app is tailor-fit to address the transportation needs of Filipinos, taking into consideration the safety of the drivers and their clients,” according to Jean Henri Lhuillier, President and CEO of PJLGC and Chairman of Xpress as he shares his vision for this expansive service. He also said that the platform can be an alternative source of livelihood for existing and aspiring partner drivers.

Technological Advancements & Service Diversity

Xpress has forged strategic alliances with global tech giants such as Google and Microsoft to elevate the ride-hailing experience. The collaboration with Google ensures an advanced mapping platform, enabling efficient driver-passenger matching, reduced wait times, and an overall smoother journey for users.

Ensuring a rigorous screening and training process for partner drivers, Xpress places a premium on not only driving skills but also the highest standards of moral character. The app incorporates features such as the ability for users to add emergency contacts, offering an extra layer of security. Chubb Insurance safeguards every journey, instilling confidence in both drivers and passengers.

The platform promotes a culture of respect and fairness through a mutual rating system, allowing constructive feedback from both drivers and passengers for continuous improvement and the maintenance of an inclusive environment.

Affordable & Transparent Pricing

Committed to providing trustworthy and cost-effective transportation options, Xpress adopts a transparent pricing model in line with LTFRB-mandated rates. Customers can expect clarity with no hidden fees, fostering trust and reliability.

As an integral part of PJLGC, Xpress aims to transform the entrepreneurial landscape by offering a dynamic platform for both current and aspiring partner drivers. The strategic partnership with Cebuana Lhuillier’s Kanegosyo Center provides access to valuable educational and financial literacy resources, enhancing the skills and knowledge of partner drivers.

Expanding Skilled Driver Fleet

Xpress is actively expanding its fleet of skilled and quality drivers through regular Driver Acquisition Onboarding and Training at the Xpress Office. Located at 3 Brixton St., Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig City, the training sessions are held daily from Mondays to Fridays.

The Xpress Driver app is currently available for download on the Google Play Store, while customers can pre-register for the Xpress customer app on the same platform. The soft launch of Xpress is set to introduce 2-wheel and 4-wheel rides in the Central Business Districts of Makati, Pasig, and Taguig, offering customers in these areas a taste of the convenience and efficiency of Xpress’ services.
