In a night brimming with gratitude and recognition, Shopee recently hosted its first-ever Shopee Super Awards. The event served as a testament to the journey shared with valued partners and highlighted Shopee’s unwavering commitment to nurturing enduring collaborations with brands, sellers, creators, and industry affiliates, all in pursuit of mutual success.

The gala, a dazzling display of appreciation, shed light on Shopee’s diverse array of partners, whose triumphs have played a pivotal role in the platform’s evolution. Awards were distributed across various categories, including growth, innovation, and community impact, exemplifying the multifaceted nature of the synergies between Shopee and its partners. Notable recipients included Metrobank (Bank Partner of the Year), GMA Kapuso Foundation (Charity Partner of the Year), Michelle Dy (Content Creator of the Year), and Dianne Medina (Stellar Livestreamer of the Year). Special award winners were generously rewarded with roundtrip flight tickets courtesy of Cebu Pacific.

“The inaugural run of Super Awards here in the Philippines is a testament to our shared dedication and commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to our users. This is our way of expressing our gratitude to our partners who chose to journey with us; as the key driving force in the success of our platform, we are committed to strengthening these collaborations and forging even more partnerships to achieve even more remarkable milestones together,” according to Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines.

Among the standout awardees was INSPI, recognized as Brand Partner of the Year. The retail giant, which established its presence on the platform in 2018, emerged as one of Shopee’s top apparel brands during the pandemic, successfully competing with major local brands.

JG Superstore, named Seller of the Year, experienced remarkable growth after transitioning to an online business model. Owners Oliver and Jill Tan transformed their small retail store specializing in innovative gadgets, which initially saw minimal daily sales, into a thriving enterprise. Since joining Shopee in 2016, their business has expanded over tenfold in the past seven years, achieving at least triple the Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) during double-digit campaigns. Leveraging the e-commerce platform, they expanded their customer base beyond Metro Manila, now offering 180+ brands and establishing themselves as a trusted online store for gadgets, equipment, and accessories.

As a gesture of appreciation to its users, Shopee is offering exciting deals and discounts during the upcoming 12.12 Mega Pamasko Sale.
