In a move to bolster educational opportunities for the families of its partner drivers, Lalamove Philippines, the leading on-demand delivery platform, has introduced the “BiyahEdukasyon” assistance program. This initiative seeks to provide financial support to 100 children and siblings of Lalamove partner drivers residing in Luzon, Metro Manila, and Cebu, enabling them to receive a substantial grant of PHP20,000 for the upcoming second semester of the academic year 2023 to 2024. The program, which falls under the umbrella of “Deliver Care,” Lalamove’s corporate social responsibility brand, reflects the company’s commitment to fostering not just income-generating opportunities but also educational aspirations within the Lalamove community.

The “BiyahEdukasyon” program stands as a beacon of hope for students striving to access quality education while pursuing their academic dreams. With no grade requirements, it offers a fair chance for all eligible applicants.

“At the heart of BiyahEdukasyon is our desire to uplift the lives of our partner drivers and their loved ones. Nakikita namin ang dedikasyon ninyo sa araw-araw na makatulong sa mga deliveries ng libu-libong tao, kaya ngayon, hayaan niyo naman pong ihatid namin ang pasasalamat sa aming programa (We see your dedication every day to help move things that matter through deliveries for thousands of people, so this time, allow us to show our gratitude through our program). In every student, we see boundless potential, dreams that can transform lives. We want Lalamove to play a part in turning those dreams into reality,” according to Djon Nacario, Lalamove Philippines’ Managing Director.

Application Process

The “BiyahEdukasyon” program welcomes applications from Lalamove partner drivers operating in the covered regions of Luzon, Greater Metro Manila, and Cebu. Eligible candidates include their children or siblings who are currently enrolled in senior high school or college, pursuing any field of study, and displaying a strong commitment to furthering their education. Interested partner driver applicants can select one beneficiary — either their child or sibling — complete the application form, provide the necessary documentation, and share their inspirational stories.

This endeavor goes beyond the provision of financial assistance. It fosters a sense of unity among Lalamove partner drivers and their families as they collectively strive for their educational ambitions.
