Almost a year after it started commercial operations, DITO Telecommunity has begun rolling out its 5G Home WiFi offering through a pilot program in 146 barangays in the City of Manila, Caloocan City, and Quezon City.
Participating barangays in this pilot will be the first to experience up to 500Mbps of download speed through the DITO 5G Home WIFI Starter Kit, which can be purchased for PHP12,990 at DITO Experience Stores in SM Manila, SM North EDSA, Robinson’s Galleria, and in Greenhills.
The Starter Kit comes with a 5G modem with a DITO SIM Card that includes 50GB open-access data that is valid for 30 days, a bonus 3-month subscription to HBO Go, and double data promos valid for 30 days via DITO Rewards and data rollover.
The telco is currently offering double data subscription based on the following:
- 100GB (from 50GB) at PHP590
- 200GB (from 100GB) at PHP990
- 340GB (from 170GB) at PHP1,490
- 500GB (from 250GB) at PHP1,990
