As the entire Philippines prepare for an economic and social recovery with further improving infection statistics, businesses, especially the Medium, Small, and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs) are hoping to recover from the devastation brought about by the ongoing pandemic.

Recently, the Amazing Philippines Digital Economy Corporation (APDEC) — the digital arm of logistics leader Airspeed — has partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in launching “Kahanga-hangang Pilipinas,” (KHPH) an eCommerce advocacy program that features MSMEs from different regions of the Philippines.

APDEC will conduct training in the areas of digital marketing and other needs of the community to ensure that MSMEs can keep up with current trends and modern business practices for them not to be left behind in the country’s economic growth. The program will cover merchant portfolio building, business development, product curating, and brand building.

The DTI commends APDEC for going the extra mile to help MSMEs get back on their feet, overcome challenges, and thrive.

“We have always been a huge supporter of MSMEs. We promise to continue helping entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses- here in the new normal and beyond,” according to Rosemarie Rafael, President and Chairwoman of Airspeed Group of Companies adding that the KHPH program is just one of the many plans of the company to help the community.

Through the KHPH program, APDEC hopes to develop an ever-growing list of MSMEs and government partners across the country with these budding enterprises selling their products online through SpeedGifts.ph.

SpeedGifts is the online gifting platform of the Airspeed Group and will be used as the main tool to sell products under the program. KHPH will focus on tourism as a beneficiary and driver for growth by taking online buyers on a virtual tour of the Philippines to promote local tourist spots while showcasing the products of partner MSMEs from these areas. Online buyers will be able to purchase products from these locations online directly via SpeedGifts.ph with Airspeed taking care of the delivery.
