The Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals will commence with a bang as gaming enthusiasts gather at the iconic SM Mall of Asia Arena for a two-day extravaganza. While the spotlight remained on the intense battles of Dota 2 and VALORANT, the event offered a unique blend of gaming and entertainment. A total of 26 teams competed fiercely for the prestigious Predator Shield and a combined prize pool of US$200,000.
Amidst the adrenaline-pumping gaming action, the audience was treated to stellar performances by some of the Philippines’ top musical talents, including Acer ambassadors Sarah Geronimo and the renowned SB19.
The highlight of Day 1 was the much-anticipated collaboration stage featuring the dynamic duo of singer, songwriter, and rapper Felip (Ken of SB19) and Paradise Rising artist Ylona Garcia. Felip, acclaimed as the main dancer, lead rapper, and vocalist of SB19, recently made waves with his solo debut EP, “COM • PLEX,” released earlier this year. On the other hand, Ylona Garcia, a singer and songwriter under Paradise Rising, has made her mark with the VALORANT-partnered release of “Entertain Me.”
Acer ambassadors Sarah Geronimo and SB19 headline the talent roster for Day 1, sharing the stage with Urbandub, Al James, and UPeepz. Day 2 promises an equally impressive lineup, featuring performances by KZ Tandingan, Sandwich, Franco, Spongecola, Manila Symphony Orchestra, Daloy Dance Company, Josh Cullen, and Pablo.
“The Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals will be a showcase of world-class gaming, music, entertainment, and community. In addition to the star-studded performances, both days provided opportunities for fans to connect with their favorite gaming personalities. Meet-and-greet sessions with Predator ambassadors Cong TV and the Team Payaman boys, including burg, KuyaNic, Chibiby, Maggiekarp, amaratv, Een Mercado, Kang Dupet, and Alodia Gosiengfiao, added a personal touch to the gaming spectacle.
