Fifty (50) vibrant college students from across the Philippines, handpicked by tech giant Samsung, have officially embarked on an extraordinary journey as the inaugural cohort of the Galaxy Campus Program. This exciting initiative seeks to empower the next generation of tech innovators, content creators, and sustainability champions, propelling them toward a future brimming with possibilities.

The program ignited with a dynamic two-day launch event at the Grand Hyatt Manila, aptly titled “Galaxy Campus First Day High.” Buzzing with activity, the sessions ranged from insightful workshops by content creation experts like Jaz Reyes and TikTok Philippines to technology discovery sessions exploring the cutting-edge capabilities of the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone. Through laughter-filled games and captivating talks, the Galaxy Campers — as they’re fondly called — forged their first bonds, setting the stage for a collaborative and inspiring journey.

“When we saw the kind of impact this program made in Samsung’s other markets, we knew right away we wanted to bring it here to the Philippines. It is our privilege to help kickstart the innovation journey of the Filipino youth, and we are looking forward to honing generations of local tech talent in the years to come,” according to Min Su Chu, Samsung Philippines Electronics Corporation (SEPCO) President during the kick-off event.

Over the next six (06) months, these young minds will have their horizons broadened and skills honed through a meticulously curated program. From delving into the latest Samsung technologies to receiving guidance from industry leaders, they’ll unlock their creative potential and develop their leadership abilities. Exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming Galaxy devices, participation in product launches, and involvement in environmental initiatives will further enrich their experience, offering priceless hands-on learning opportunities.

But the journey isn’t purely about knowledge acquisition. Solo and group missions will not only challenge their creativity and initiative but also serve as gateways to exciting rewards, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie within the #TeamGalaxy family.

With its first batch now taking flight, Galaxy Campus promises to be a launchpad for the next generation of tech pioneers. By nurturing young talent, Samsung is not only investing in the future of technology but also shaping a brighter tomorrow for all. Keep your eyes peeled — the stars of tomorrow are rising, fueled by the power of #TeamGalaxy!
