TCL Electronics has once again clinched the prestigious Global Top 2 TV Brand title for the second consecutive year, as per the latest findings from market research authority Omdia.

According to Omdia’s Global TV Sets Report 2023, TCL maintained its stronghold as the second-largest TV brand globally, shipping an impressive 25.26 million units and commanding a substantial 12.5% market share. The company’s remarkable success can be attributed, in part, to its thriving premium TV lineup, particularly the introduction of a series of cutting-edge Mini LED TVs in 2023. This product category has witnessed substantial growth in recent times, fueled by robust market demand.

TCL’s commitment to expanding and refining its premium TV offerings has been evident since it unveiled the world’s first Mini LED TV in 2019, a pioneering move that also marked the commencement of mass production for Mini LED TVs. Leveraging its array of proprietary Mini LED technologies and formidable algorithm capabilities, TCL has set itself apart by delivering unparalleled display quality and an exceptional viewing experience to consumers.

In the past year, TCL unveiled a range of Mini LED TVs, with some models measuring 98 inches and above. The crown jewel in this lineup is the colossal 115-inch QD-Mini LED TV, introduced at CES 2024 in North America. Boasting an impressive array of over 20,000 local dimming zones and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, this TV exemplifies TCL’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of display technology.

Looking ahead to 2024, TCL remains steadfast in its dedication to elevating Mini LED TV technologies, aiming to inspire greatness among users worldwide through continued innovation. The company’s relentless pursuit of excellence positions it as a frontrunner in the fiercely competitive global TV market.
