Being an educator, one of the problems posed by online classes during this pandemic is having a quiet workplace inside your house. I have two kids, both into homeschooling for weeks now – with my youngest using the internal speakers of her laptop so that we can monitor her teachers’ instructions while in class. It’s quite a struggle especially if you need to conduct your own online classes, yourself and you’re sitting right next to her.

McDonald’s Philippines saw the need for teachers to have a decent, quiet space to conduct their distance learning instruction that’s why they are launching the McClassroom.

In a social media post, McDonald’s in the Philippines announced that they are converting party rooms at select branches to McClassrooms in order to provide a sanitized and quiet working space (free of charge) for teachers to conduct their lessons online.

This service to teachers comes with free McCafe coffee and WiFi (to outlets with free WiFi) according to McDonald’s. Simply visit participating stores [list via bit.ly/McClassroom_2020] to register a slot from 5 to 9 October 2020.
