The Mapúa University introduces a new program that combines business management, industrial engineering, and decision sciences education aimed at producing graduates who can be business engineers ready to take decision-maker and leadership roles across a myriad of industries.

The Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering program, offered under the University’s School of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (IE-EMG), will produce professionals who have the knowledge and skills to provide sound and optimal decisions within a business organization and to develop efficient, cost-effective, and technology-enabled business processes. These experts are expected to deliver data-driven and analytical decisions and strategies as well as scientific approaches to problem-solving.

An evolution of the Industrial Engineering program of Mapúa, the Management Engineering program is among the 14 internationally accredited undergraduate programs and is reinforced by business and management education. Career opportunities range from the areas of finance, sales and marketing, human resource management, information systems, production and operations, and consultancy, among others.

Students can complete the program in three and a half years, with a total of 186-course units. The Management Engineering program is among the programs housed in Mapúa’s new state-of-the-art Makati campus located along Pablo Ocampo Sr. Extension.
