Some awesome news for Makatizens (residents of Makati City, the Philippines’ business and financial capital): the local government unit (LGU) kicks off the online registration as announced by Mayor Abby Binay’s official Twitter account this afternoon:

The schedule for online registration are as follow:

  • 25 March 2021: Online Registration for Senior Citizen BLU Cardholders
  • 29 March 2021: Offline Registration for Senior Citizen BLU Cardholders via Drip ni Maki
  • 30 March 2021: Online Registration for White Cardholders and 4Ps members (18 to 59 years old)

As one of the country’s richest cities (yet one of the smallest when it comes to land area), the local government of Makati announced in January 2021 that it has purchased a total of one (01) million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines for its residents and for employees of businesses registered within their locale.

Online registration for the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as other Makati City “ayuda” is available via https://proudmakatizen.com.
