LBC, the Philippines’ leading courier provider, has announced its recent accreditation by the Supreme Court, enabling it to offer a dependable and convenient filing solution to law firms and litigants. During a formal ceremony last 29 May 2023, LBC was officially recognized as the chosen courier provider for all courts nationwide.

This accreditation comes as a result of the 2019 Amendments to the Rules of Civil Procedure, which allowed courier providers to seek accreditation from the Supreme Court. Although LBC was not initially verified upon the law’s enactment, it has now obtained accreditation as of February of this year.

“We are honored to partner with the Supreme Court in providing this vital service to litigants. Our nationwide branch and delivery network ensure ease and convenience for them to file their court submissions, which are officially acknowledged on the day of a successful transaction with LBC,” according to Jerome S. Santos, Senior Vice President of LBC Business Solutions.

With this new development, litigants can now submit their pleadings, motions, notices, orders, judgments, and other court documents at any LBC branch throughout the country or arrange for pick-up by a designated rider from their office or residence. The date of filing will be considered the day of submission at an LBC branch or the day of courier pickup.

By partnering with LBC, law firms gain access to a reliable and trusted logistics provider, addressing their accessibility requirements. This service simplifies the process of filing court submissions by leveraging LBC’s extensive network. With LBC’s strong brand reputation and the endorsement of the highest court in the land, litigants can have peace of mind, knowing that their confidential and sensitive documents are secure.

“LBC has been able to provide the services we need since February this year. I am very happy to say that things have been running smoothly. And as much as we are happy to have them, we are very pleased to know that they are ready to provide the services not only to our court system but to the entire nation as well,” said Court Admin Justice Villanueva.

Thomas-Parra, and Court Attorney for Legal Atty. Cherry Mesina.
