In a groundbreaking move towards fortifying the digital landscape, Gogolook, the TrustTech company renowned for its leading anti-fraud app Whoscall, has officially partnered with GoTyme Bank, a rapidly expanding digital bank boasting a user base of over two million Filipinos. This pivotal collaboration, the first of its kind for Gogolook in the private sector, signifies a joint commitment to shielding Filipinos from the escalating threat of digital scams and fraud, paving the way for a secure and confident digital journey.

The partnership underscores a crucial advancement in securing the digital sphere within the Philippines, recognizing the imperative need for robust security measures. As Filipinos increasingly turn to digital platforms for everyday transactions and interactions, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Gogolook and GoTyme is poised to empower users with the tools and knowledge essential for navigating the digital world securely.

“With the rapid digitalization in the Philippines, it’s crucial to safeguard Filipinos from evolving online threats. This partnership with GoTyme is a powerful testament to our shared commitment to creating a Scam-Free Pilipinas. By combining Gogolook’s extensive anti-fraud expertise with GoTyme’s reach and innovative digital banking solutions, we can create a safer and more inclusive digital environment for Filipinos,” according to Manwoo Joo, COO of Gogolook.

Central to this collaboration is Whoscall, Gogolook’s flagship anti-fraud app. Propelled by an extensive database comprising over 2.6 billion phone numbers and URLs, crafted through the amalgamation of AI technology and partnerships with regional government and national defense institutions, Whoscall stands as a formidable barrier against scams and phishing attempts. Through this alliance, Whoscall’s potent features become accessible to GoTyme’s two million subscribers, offering them a shield against suspicious phone calls and text messages, and safeguarding their finances and personal information.

However, the collaboration goes beyond the provision of the Whoscall app. Gogolook and GoTyme pledge an active role in promoting cyber hygiene and awareness through collaborative initiatives. This encompasses sharing data insights, leveraging technology to identify and combat emerging fraud trends, and conducting educational campaigns. These efforts aim to equip Filipinos with the knowledge and skills needed to protect themselves online.

“We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Gogolook as we jointly promote an advocacy to fight against scams and fraud. Together we can build a trustworthy ecosystem for our customers as we leverage Gogolook’s impressive database and advanced AI tech products such as the Whoscall Anti-Scam and Anti-Spam mobile solution in detecting malicious and suspicious calls and messages and assessing the risks of URLs,” said Albert Tinio, Co-CEO of GoTyme Bank.

This historic partnership between Gogolook and GoTyme heralds a new era of cooperation in the fight against online fraud in the Philippines. By pooling their expertise and resources, these industry leaders aspire to furnish Filipinos with the necessary tools and knowledge to confidently navigate the digital age, fostering a safer and more prosperous future.
