GCash has enlisted the support of Heart Evangelista-Escudero, marking the commencement of a new era of financial progress for every Filipino.

With a stellar track record of achievements focused on making financial services accessible to all, GCash is set to embark on this transformative journey alongside its newest endorser. The partnership was officially unveiled during a live filming event for an upcoming episode of GCash Spotlight, scheduled for release on the GCash YouTube account later this month.

The episode, inspired by Heart’s popular vlog series on adulting, was hosted by the renowned Boy Abunda and explored how GCash has significantly influenced Heart’s daily life and work. Divided into four segments, the event delved into Heart’s strategies for saving, spending, and investing through GCash’s diverse features and products.

The first segment provided an intimate glimpse into Heart’s personal experiences, showcasing how GCash has become an indispensable companion in her financial progress journey. From the convenience of Express Send for sending funds to anyone, anywhere, to the hassle-free Scan-to-Pay feature used by millions of local and international merchants, Heart highlighted the versatility of GCash in her day-to-day transactions. She also praised the app’s ability to offer exclusive discounts when paying online.

Heart shared her recent discovery of GCash’s benefits abroad, using the GCash Card for shopping in Paris due to its low forex rates and absence of surprise fees. The event further explored Heart’s financial strategies in a lighthearted game of “Save, Splurge, or Invest,” emphasizing that financial growth doesn’t necessitate lifestyle limitations.

“My financial journey has really been transformative. Whether it’s managing my everyday expenses or seeking out the best deals, GCash has played a really big role in that. For me, GCash is the best way to pay, because of the ease and convenience it offers for every kind of situation,” said Evangelista-Escudero.

GCash introduced users to GSave, a savings marketplace powered by Unobank, enabling account opening and access to savings with interest rates of up to 6.5% p.a. Heart unveiled GStocks, AB Capital Securities, Inc.’s online retail securities trading services accessible through the GCash app, offering users a straightforward way to invest in stocks.

“This new era is an invitation to a brighter future for all Filipinos. We are giving them the confidence and trust that they can shop whatever their heart desires, save and fund their dreams for the future, and manage their finances independently and without worry — all through GCash. We’re very excited to have Heart Evangelista lead the way and inspire all Filipinos in their financial progress era,” according to Neil Trinidad, Chief Marketing Officer of GCash.

For travel security, Heart endorsed GInsure Travel Insurance, an affordable option powered by Standard Insurance and Malayan. With coverage of up to PHP2.5M for flights, luggage, and emergencies, users can enjoy worry-free travel experiences for as low as PHP350 in under five minutes.

The program also sheds light on how GCash plays a pivotal role in managing finances for Heart and her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, emphasizing the importance of financial health in a modern family.

As the event concluded, the audience was treated to a sneak peek into the upcoming projects from Heart and GCash, including a series of films highlighting the GCash Wealth Management portfolio, featuring GSave, GStocks, and GInsure.

GCash envisions a future where everyone can step into their new era of financial progress, enabling individuals to spend wisely and build a secure future through the diverse range of products and services offered by the platform.
