Our friends at Shopee sent me an ACE ZE19 32-inch Smart TV for review. The following are my first impressions of the unit.

Specifications

The ACE ZE19 is a 32-inch Smart TV that sports a screen resolution of 720p. Consuming just 50W of power (with 220V power input), the manufacturers managed to pack 4GB of ROM and 512MB of RAM on this LED Smart TV.

Running on Google’s Android 4.4.4 (Kitkat), the TV unit has USB 2.0 that supports MP4 and JPEG playback. As for input ports, the device has built-in VGA, HDMI, and RCA for video; while it has a 3.5mm port for audio input. The Smart TV itself has a couple of pre-installed apps that are useful for day-to-day use. You may opt to attach your existing Google account to this smart device to have the ability to download and install apps from the Google Play Store.

The LED Smart TV measures 74cm in length, 44cm in width, and 48.3cm in height.

Ease of Use

Out of the box, the ACE ZE19 Smart TV comes with a standard remote control unit. Connecting the device to an existing home network via WiFi is quite easy — even your folks can set it up. Upon connecting to the home WiFi, my MacBook Pro was able to detect it via AirPlay.

Using AirPlay on my laptop, I was able to seamlessly mirror my screen to the ACE ZE19 Smart TV via the built-in EShare app — pretty sleek and useful feature for homeschooling.

Availability & Pricing

The ACE ZE19 32-inch Smart TV is available online via the ACE Philippines Official Shopee Store. With an original price tag of PHP7,599 get this item now online and have it delivered right at the comfort of your home for only PHP5,431 — that’s a whopping 29% discount!

I will be using the Smart TV until this weekend to have a more detailed review.
