bob-open-web-day-manila-2012-dlsu_thumb[10]The Mozilla Philippines Community had teamed up with WikiMedia Philippines and the De La Salle University (DLSU) Manila to stage what we called as Open Web Day Manila 2012 earlier today.

The electronic invites sent for the event states:

Filipino ako.
Firefox ang browser ko, Wikipedia ang ini-edit ko.
Paano tumulong sa Tagalog Firefox?
Paano mag-edit sa Wikipedia?
Alamin at pumunta sa Open Web Day Workshops.

The seminar workshop was held in one of the lecture rooms (A1103) at the Bro. Andrew Gonzalez Hall – been ages since I went last there – and was attended by some close to a hundred students and professionals (during the morning session; dwindled to just around 55 after lunch) from Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Thanks to all who participated and joined Team Mozilla Philippines + Team Wikimedia Philippines for the 2nd run of Open Web Day Manila at the De La Salle University Manila earlier today. Everyone had fun (isn’t that obvious?) during the workshops, though it could had been better if all have internet connection. Don’t you worry, there’s always a next time …
