Rushing from the office, trying to do last minute changes for my class activities, I went to my favorite internet cafe near the school: Netopia Madison. Mike, the ever friendliest tech of that branch advised me that it is their last day of operation. How sad. The other day, I went to the Smart Wireless Center, within the same vicinity, and there is something posted on the door that they will cease operation, too, by 16 Mar 2007.

I guess my days of being a “tambay” at the Netopia will be lessened, as I will be forced to either use the Faculty Lounge computer or cross the street (off to University Mall) and login at the other Netopia branch there.

By the way, thanks to Netopia Madison for the coupon that they gave to me: FREE 1 hour of internet usage at their branch in UM.
