My Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet (TF101 running ICS) had just notified me that a firmware update is already available. On the 3rd of this month, Asus announced that it will start rolling out Firmware V9.2.1.21 to TF101’s running on Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and almost half a month later it lands in Philippine shores.

The firmware upgrade promises:

  • Improvement in System stability
  • Improvement in Email stability
  • Improvement in the AppBackup app
  • Improvement in MyLibrary stability
  • Support for WiFi Direct
  • Support for Unzip in the File Manager
  • Restore Tab function in the Web Browser (but I suggest that you download and install Mozilla Firefox for Android)
