As Metro Manila grapples with record-breaking summer temperatures soaring above 40°C, TCL, the newly named Triple Global Top 1 TV Brand and a trusted leader in home appliances, has launched a refreshing initiative: the TCL Cool Truck. This mobile cooling lounge brings instant relief to the public while showcasing the cutting-edge features of the company’s latest air conditioning innovation, the FreshIN 3.0.

The Cool Truck is TCL’s response to the ongoing heatwave and limited access to public cooling spaces. By parking in high-footfall locations such as Intramuros (10 to 17 May 2025) and Ayala Malls TriNoMa (18 to 24 May 2025), the truck transforms familiar urban spots into much-needed “cool zones,” allowing passersby to experience firsthand how TCL’s advanced air conditioning technology can combat extreme heat.

Inside the TCL Cool Truck, visitors were welcomed into an immersive and chilled environment. Divided into themed zones, the truck doubled as a mobile showroom for the FreshIN 3.0 inverter air conditioners. These units showcased key features such as Offline Voice Control — which enables users to adjust settings using simple voice commands even without internet — and the T-AI Energy Saving Technology, which adapts to environmental conditions and helps lower power consumption by up to 37%.

The foyer area offered a co-working space complete with free Wi-Fi, making it ideal for remote workers and students. Meanwhile, the Book Nook provided a serene area for reading or social media content creation. The FreshIN 3.0’s QuadruPuri filtration system and ultra-quiet 16dB operation created a clean, tranquil, and refreshing indoor environment. Even pet owners appreciated how the unit eliminated odors and stabilized humidity levels for improved air quality.

Adding a touch of fun to the experience was the “Icy Reflex” interactive game, where guests could win exclusive TCL merchandise while learning about the brand’s smart features.

“The TCL Cool Truck was our way of meeting Filipinos where they are, right in the middle of this record-breaking heat. We wanted people to experience firsthand how our air conditioning technology delivers real comfort, not just in showrooms, but in everyday spaces. By creating a cool, welcoming environment on wheels, we gave visitors a refreshing escape and a clear sense of how TCL provides practical, energy-efficient relief when it’s needed most. By featuring FreshIN 3.0 in action, especially its offline voice command control, we’re offering a real solution to beat the summer heat while reinforcing TCL’s commitment to smart, convenient, and refreshing living,” according to TCL Brand Manager Joseph Cernitchez.

With the Cool Truck, TCL effectively delivered both relief and awareness, proving that innovation can go beyond showrooms and into the streets. This mobile initiative not only demonstrated TCL’s FreshIN 3.0 in action but also solidified the brand’s commitment to accessible, smart, and sustainable living for Filipinos.

TCL continues to expand its smart home offerings, including its lineup of QLED TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines — all designed with innovation and efficiency in mind.
