TCL Electronics, a trusted household name in consumer technology, recently celebrated a remarkable milestone — 25 years of innovation and excellence in Filipino homes. The celebration took place at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila through the 2025 TCL Grand Launch, themed “Legendary Moment, Timeless Greatness.” The event highlighted TCL’s unwavering commitment to providing intuitive, smart, and sustainable technology tailored to the evolving lifestyle of Filipino consumers.
This anniversary comes with a significant global achievement: TCL is now the new Triple Global Top 1 TV Brand in Mini-LED, Google TV, and Ultra-Large Screen TVs (85 inches and above), as recognized by OMDIA 2024.
Griffin Zhang, General Manager of TCL Asia Pacific Business Group, opened the program by highlighting the company’s success in the Philippine market, saying, “In the past, TCL has achieved remarkable results in the Philippine market. Our TV and AC sales both hold the number 1 market share in sales volume and have become trusted brands among consumers. The Ref & WM category has also maintained a rapid growth trend, with a constantly expanding market share. These achievements are inseparable from the efforts and support of every partner. Looking ahead, TCL will continue to uphold the principle of ‘Technology Creates A Better Life’, constantly innovate and improve product quality and service levels. We hope to work collectively with all the partners to explore the Philippine market and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.”
TCL Philippines CEO Peter Chen emphasized the company’s focus on cutting-edge design and sustainable technology. “Being innovative has always been in TCL’s DNA. We are not a follower, but a trailblazer. For us, innovation is to go beyond our limits and develop cutting-edge, sustainable technologies. For us, being fashionable is to create a diverse sensory experience through the combination of technology and art. Lastly, premium refers to our ongoing exploration of aesthetic philosophy. We believe there’s a power that keeps us going on the path to upgrading TCL’s brand value. Let’s work together, progress together, and prosper together,” said Chen.
The event’s highlight was the unveiling of TCL’s 2025 product lineup, showcasing four major innovations across categories. Among the standout launches were:
- The TCL X11K QD-MiniLED TV, introduced by Charlie Huang, promises unparalleled image quality.
- The award-winning TCL FreshIn 3.0 Air Conditioner, presented by Bert Cheung, offers smart climate control with advanced filtration and voice command features.
- The Super Drum Combo+ C682 Front Load Washer and Dryer and the AAT Inverter+ C436BMSB refrigerator, showcased by Eric Li, deliver enhanced efficiency and smart home integration.
A special segment spotlighted TCL’s global partnership with the International Olympic Committee, which runs until 2032. Shae Yu, Deputy Director of Marketing at TCL Philippines, emphasized the brand’s alignment with Olympic values.
The celebration also welcomed Filipino pole vault sensation EJ Obiena, currently ranked World No. 4. He expressed pride in the TCL partnership, likening the brand’s pursuit of innovation to his athletic drive for excellence.
Adding excitement to the evening, TV personality Valeen Montenegro and actress Rhian Ramos were introduced as new TCL Brand Partners. Valeen praised the QD-MiniLED TV for transforming her home entertainment, while Rhian lauded the FreshIn 3.0 AC for its voice control and energy efficiency. To conclude the night, TCL executives led by Cyd Montebon and Wesley Yang offered a celebratory toast to the brand’s journey and future.
