McDonald’s Philippines is turning up the heat in the fried chicken game as it officially launches its newest offering: the Much Malaki, Much Pinasarap Chicken McDo. Starting today, 21 April 2025, fans across the country can taste for themselves what’s being hailed as the juiciest and most flavorful version of Chicken McDo yet — now bigger, better, and still budget-friendly.

The latest upgrade to the fast food giant’s fried chicken staple is all about delivering more satisfaction per bite. According to Ada Lazaro, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald’s Philippines, the brand is taking a bold leap in elevating the fried chicken experience for Filipinos. “We’re taking a bold step to redefine the fried chicken experience in the Philippines — offering customers consistent great quality that is not just big in size, but also big in taste. Filipino consumers deserve the best. That is why we bring them a Much Malaki, Much Pinasarap Chicken McDo,” Lazaro said.

What Makes It “Much Pinasarap”?

The improved Chicken McDo is now juicier and tastier than ever. McDonald’s achieves this by cooking smaller batches of chicken, which ensures each piece is perfectly fried. The new method also allows the marinade to seep deeper into every piece, locking in bold flavors that make each bite more satisfying.

To maintain the elevated quality, McDonald’s has ramped up its training programs for its in-store “Chicken Experts,” ensuring that the preparation and cooking process meets the new, higher standards across all branches.

Still Just PHP99 for a Meal

Despite the enhancements in both size and flavor, McDonald’s confirms that the price of the Chicken McDo meal remains unchanged. For just PHP99, customers can enjoy a complete meal with rice and drink — making the Much Malaki, Much Pinasarap Chicken McDo not just tastier, but still affordable.

The upgraded Chicken McDo will be available in all McDonald’s outlets nationwide through dine-in, take-out, drive-thru, and McDelivery.
