Eastern Communications successfully held its highly anticipated Transcend Summit 2025 on 08 April 2025 at the Makati Shangri-La, uniting more than 200 top industry leaders, technology experts, and decision-makers to discuss innovation, digital transformation, and customer experience (CX) as cornerstones of sustainable business growth.
With the theme “Powering the Future Through Innovation and Customer Focus,” the summit highlighted Eastern’s commitment to empowering enterprises through reliable and forward-looking ICT solutions. The event was made possible through collaborations with global tech giants, including Cato Networks, Fortinet, Huawei, Sophos, Cisco, CloudSigma, Nexusguard, Pax8, and was supported by media partners The Manila Times and Malaya Business Insight.
The summit featured keynote presentations from Greg Banzon, COO and EVP of Century Pacific Foods, and Maulik Parekh, founder of aiVolution Asia. Banzon’s keynote focused on how companies can transform challenges into opportunities through technology and adaptability, using Century Pacific’s journey from a modest startup to an industry leader as a case study. Parekh, meanwhile, delved into how AI is reshaping customer engagement and business optimization, emphasizing leadership skills essential in an AI-first world.
A panel discussion moderated by ABS-CBN Business Correspondent Mimi Ong further explored the topic “How Innovation and Customer Experience Is Critical for Business Success.” Panelists included Pierre Curay of SCMAP, Edsel Paglinawan of Eastern Communications, and Tonichi Parekh of Concentrix. The session explored how businesses can remain agile and competitive by integrating cutting-edge technologies with human-centric strategies.
