Wondering how to save those sassy YouTube.com videos of your friends or simply by anyone who posted it there?

Wonder no more. Just download and install this Firefox Extension: VideoDownloader. VideoDownloader Firefox Extension add a small icon on the status bar at the bottom of your firefox window, and a toolbar button.

Ok! So I have VideoDownloader already installed. I had restarted my Firefox. What’s next?

  1. Go to the YouTube page you wish to download.
  2. Wait for the VideoDownloader icon to appear at the Status Bar of your Firefox.
  3. From there, you will be able to save the YouTube file in FLV format.
  4. Now, if you want to view that FLV file in say, Windows Media Player, you will need a video converter like CinemaForge. Download CinemaForge here.
