About Bob

Born on the 28th of October 1979, Robert Reyes y Dela Cruz is the first born of Rogelio Sanchez Reyes, an Electrical Engineer and Consuelo Abrogina Dela Cruz, a home-maker. The family is blessed with another child a year and a half after Bob (as he is fondly called by his friends) was born. He was named as Ronnie (a.k.a. KaBooM).

Bob went to Bangkal Elementary School Unit II in Makati City from 1986 to 1992. He then went to PAREF-Southridge in Hillsborough, Alabang for his Secondary studies. It is here where he joined the Bagting (Filipino term for “strings”), an all male rondalla band that plays a multitude of repertoire: from Kundiman to OPM Pop; from Classical Music to Pop-Rock; etc. He graduated not among the top in his class, which by the way, is composed of only twenty (20) brave souls.

During his college years, he fell in love with visual and object-oriented programming. This gave him the distinction to be recognized as Programmer of the Year at AMA Computer University for 1997 and 1998. Goes with the recognition is a full scholarship from that date on until he graduated.

As early as 1998, he already joined a startup inflight services company at the NAIA, wherein he is still connected as of today.

On October 2002, a study grant was given to him by the Department of Science & Technology (DOST) – Virtual Center for Technology & IT and from the Microsoft IT Academy. The grants (three in total) gave him the opportunity to pass the Microsoft international examination and be recognized as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) for VisualBasic Development.

Bob is married to Ruby Rose Paiso and in September 2007, they were blessed with their first child, Robyn Andi Xeon. Bob is currently busy with airport work, teaching, and managing his own internet presence business.
