Apple to Launch 3G iPhone: Still Waiting for 22G iPhone in Manila

In twelve hours’ time, there will be a confirmation whether Steve Jobs will be (or will not be) unveiling the 3G version of the Apple iPhone at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC 2008). Rumors about the 3G iPhone had been circulating in the web since last week.

We, here at Manila, Philippines are still waiting on Globe Telecoms to announce when will be the 2G iPhone available to local consumers. Paging Apple: Can’t you do something like Microsoft always does? Synchronized launch of products worldwide?

Sir yung ilalabas po ng globe dito will be the iphone 3G, may nakikita na po akong rumored prices sa net both postpaid & prepaid. I want to have one pero I’m okay with my ipod touch na, sobrang helpful lalo na CSB is a wi-fi campus. Sana maka-develop ang CSB ng isang iphone/ipod touch app, I’ll be asking SMIT kung marunong sila, more on Windows mobile pa po kasi sila. I was thinking nga po of a course in Mobile Software Technology, lalo na ngayon booming na ang mobile, what do you think Sir Bob?

Yah! I saw the rumored prices and plan rates — they are NOT for me. Hehehe. Planning to acquire Plan Centro instead.

The Apple rumor mill is once again running overtime on the topic of netbooks. If you believe the reports, Steve Jobs is himself leading the charge. My take: Whatever Apple does, it won’t be a netbook in the usual sense, I also bet that Apple, if it does anything, will itself avoid using the n-word to describe it.
