I had high praises when it comes how satisfied I am with my UnionBankPH EON Cyber Account (Visa Electron), not until yesterday when I cannot use it online. Usually, then I encounter the error:
“We are unable to process your request. Please use another card or payment method.”
I simply wait for a few hours, and my online purchase pushes through. But since 48 hours ago, I (and some other EON users) cannot make any payments online through my UnionBankPH EON account. Tried to call their Customer Service Hotline, but I am always on hold for atleast 30-45 minutes. Sent an email to them, but no reply is received up to this writing.
Is EON Visa Electron down? Or is it just me?

I am also having problems with EON – couldn’t use it for payments recently. Ang lumalabas naman sa akin, ‘Invalid amount’ blah and the customer service is really bad!

It’s down. I called UnionBank’s customer hotline (I can’t call it customer CARE because they apparently don’t) and I was told that a lot of enraged monsters have been calling them lately because EON cards don’t work for Paypal account verification anymore – at least for now. The system, it seems, Visa’s system, is down. That’s what she said. And that’s why I still haven’t received my $600 which I took from my Paypal account more than a week ago. Visa’s end is the one with the glitch, that’s why EON Visa cards can’t be used to purchase, verify, or withdraw anything. Paypal and Unionbank are actually innocent, for a change. I just can’t believe I have to wait any longer…

I also can’t access my eon cyberaccount, I’ve had it for two years but recently I couldn’t log in anymore… always invalid card number.
