Internet + Computer = Life! (version 3.20 build update 21012012)

Yahoo! Joins OpenID

As posted on their website http://developer.yahoo.com/openid

Yahoo! Supports OpenID 2.0!
OpenID makes it easy for you to deliver a simplified login experience for your users. Rather than having to create a unique user name and password for your website, users can now use an existing user name and password that they have created elsewhere. Of course, this is true only if “elsewhere” is a participating supplier of OpenIDs.

At Yahoo!, we acknowledge that simplifying the user login experience across the Internet benefits everyone. That’s why we are a huge supporter of OpenID. By enabling our 248 million registered users as OpenID accounts, we hope that gives you a lot of reasons to support OpenID too.

Internet Marketing Bootcamp (IMB)

I was happy and honored to be invited and actually to be included in the first Internet Marketing Bootcamp (IMB) conducted by US Auto Parts Philippines (MBSTEK Corporation) last 19 January 2008 in Pasig. Seated together with seasoned bloggers like Sasha Manuel and Jedi Dancel, it was a funfilled learning afternoon as we listened to speakers covering Affiliate, Email, & Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Basics of Web Design — conducted by former CSB student Rico Sta. Cruz, Web Analytics, and Online Copywriting.

All of the participants were treated to a sumptuous snacks (KR’s) and a tour of their Pasig Office. Oh, by the way, did I mentioned that this was all for FREE?! I even met fellow bloggers Marc Macalua (their Vice-President now, congrats!) and the guy behind JOZZUA.com. Another great news is that their are currently in a hiring spree for around 100++ vacant positions in their company. If you wish to join the next round of IMB or would like to join US Auto Parts Philippines, head on to http://www.usautoparts.com.ph/imb

Happy Feast Day of San Ildefonso

san-ildefonso.jpgMay you, San Ildefonso, continue to guide us and our families.

Mabuhay, San Ildefonso!

[Public Service] On Sunday, 27 January 2008, Barangays Bangkal & Pio Del Pilar will celebrate the feast day of our beloved patron, San Ildefonso. Please expect portions of Evangelista (from EDSA to Arnaiz Ave.) and almost all of the side streets to be closed to traffic.

PayPal Bonus!

Are you a PayPal user? Ever received a “bonus” from PayPal? I was surprised to see an entry in my PayPal account today that I indeed received a “bonus” of US$1.95 from PayPal.

Then, I just realized, isn’t that US$1.95 the same amount debited by PayPal from my EON Cyber Account (Visa Electron) to verify my user identity? That was months ago already!
