Event planning portal launches Philippines’ first customizable Online Event Planner HotOccasions.com, the first comprehensive online guide for all occasions, virtually launched the country’s first Online Event Planner at www.hotoccasions.com on May 20, 2007.
The Online Planner is a new feature integrated into the second version of the HotOccasions website at www.hotoccasions.com as an addition to its already existing event planning features like HotQuestions, which allows the user to send a query to all suppliers of a chosen category, Supplier Listings, and Tips & Articles.
The new HotOccasions Online Event Planner is a fully customizable checklist of tasks in planning your event. It starts of as a preset checklist of to-do items for your event but it can be customized, as the user can add or delete tasks as he or she sees fit. The Planner also sends out e-mail reminders to users when a task is due.
HotOccasions.com aims to be the country’s most comprehensive event planning website. With its new customizable online event planner, users are guided by a pre-generated list of tasks for any event they would want to plan; whether it be a wedding, birthday party, or an anniversary. Users may also add or delete tasks as needed.
Along with the new customizable Online Event Planner, HotOccasions.com retains its original features like Supplier Listings and Tips & Articles. Also retained is the convenient HotQuestions feature, which enables a user to send a query to many suppliers at once.
“The new version of the site [HotOccasions.com] has a better interface that can be easily used by anyone who wishes to plan their events at the comfort of their home or at the office. And of course, it’s better looking than the previous version,” says Marylene Uyboco, HotOccasions Vice President for Sales and Marketing. “The release of HotOccasions Version 2 brings HotOccasions a step closer to its goal of becoming a one-stop guide in planning parties and events.”
HotOccasions.com is attempting to raise the bar in party and events planning by “providing users with a very convenient and way to plan their own events at the click of a mouse,” stresses Uyboco.
